Mr. McMillan has worked in the Medical Laboratory Profession since 1977. He is
a graduate of Odessa College, Odessa, TX and has been lead tech, supervisor, chief tech, and laboratory manager for laboratories
in Oklahoma and Texas since that time. His experience ranges from the small rural hospital laboratory environment to management
of a reference laboratory that performed over a million laboratory test a year. He currently works with several laboratories
to provide continuing education and to stay current with regulatory standards.
Mr. McMillan is a Member of the
ASCP and has served as a Local/State Representative and Regional Representative. He received the Regional Associate Member
Award in 2000 and was selected to represent the American Society for Pathology as a participant of the 2004 Coalition
for Allied Health Leadership Team. He served on the Associate Council as the representative for the South Central
Region which consists of Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas.
Medical Laboratory Services,
Inc. was founded in 2003. Mr. McMillan has a desire to share his knowledge and experience to help other laboratories achieve
and maintain high quality. The mission of Medical Laboratory Services, Inc. is to help laboratory professionals provide the
healthcare facilities and communities they serve with the best quality of patient care possible.

Mrs. McMillan is a 1988
graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University and has a degree in Education. She was certified as an Histologic Technician
in 2000. She is the co-founder of Medical Laboratory Services, Inc. and she assists laboratories in meeting regulations and
standards for inspections. She helps write policies and procedures for laboratories,create forms and charts, and aids in communication
between the laboratory, medical director, and administration. She helps coordinate educational conferences for area laboratory
professionals. She also assists with instruction and training histology personnel.
Mrs. McMillan is now serving
as a Local Representative for the ASCP in the South Central Region. She a Member of the ASCP and a member of the National
Society for Histotechnology. She has worked in the laboratory profession since 1991. Her experience consists of
client relation representative, Histology Tech, and training as a pathology assistant.
